About two weeks ago I was looking for cheap M42 mount lenses to cannibalize for parts and I found a Russian company flogging lenses. The price was a little high $5.00 but I thought I'd see how long it would take to get a lens from there to Canada (if at all). I expected about 2 or 3 months but it arrived today packaged in a bubblewrap envelope with a nice card that I presume saya thank you on it. I was really surprised and pleased with the service. The lens is exactly as I expected it would be. There are finger prints on the glass and the aperture scale is a few degrees out of sync (it reads f4 when its at f3.5) but aperture and focus move freely although it feels like it skipped the greasing stage of assembly.
