well, the real tradition of flamenco is the singing...he's singing, or rather wailing his heartache (really depends on the song)...she's dancing in a rather confined space...so confined, in fact, that the depth present in this picture was quite surprising...this is my favorite, so far, from the flamenco pics i took because it really illustrates the power and emotion of this music...she is free and strong, his heart is being ripped from his chest...it is the gypsy equivalent of the blues
