Since the other EM bands (L band, S band, X Band, AM band, FM band, HF band, VHF Band, UHF Band, infrared band, ultraviolet band, x-ray band, etc.) actually exist apart from the mind, you may assume that the visual band, along with sub bands named for the various colors exist. Photons are physical and real. We experience concrete with one sense, and the various colors with a different sense.

Of course magenta exists but in terms of light it is composed of a
mixture
of red and blue wavelength. Concrete exist too. It is a combination
of sand,
Portland cement and small rocks.


I love the analogy.

The difference of course is that magenta exists only in the mind
(actually, along with  all colours for that matter) whereas concrete
is pretty physical.
