Standard pricing goes: 5X cost of materials = retail; or by David Vestal's
formula -- 8X cost of materials = his price payable to himself.

Subject: There's lots more of me where I come from..................
Hi Gang.........................
I am trying to figure out what to charge for multiple prints from the same
image(digital).......................
I work with a lot of Theatre People who love
photos but are also as poor as Church Mice
so I tend to keep my prices in their range.
(I also work in Theatre and understand where
they are coming from.............)
So lets say I charge them $10.00 for an 8x10 of a Head Shot.
Lets not get into my overhead
and retouching time and all that
we are just working off the price
of the original.
What's a good price to charge for
multiple images from that same file.
I like to make money but I also
am working with a client base
that doesn't have money falling
out of their pockets.
Thanks..............
