The Canon 10D viewfinder is adjustable for brightness from way too bright, to a lot too bright, to just too bright. It cannot be relied on for visual examination of accurate exposure.
Are you talking about the viewfinder? Sounds more like the LCD. If it is the finder, how do you adjust it?
