Terry, I don't think we're talking about "wrong" here.

Clearly, you are a person with opinions. If, in your opinion, something about an image in the gallery is "wrong", that's only your opinion and it's only about the image, not about the person. When you say "I think that's no good" you're only telling us that you have a strong negative reaction to the image. Of course, a more constructive opinion, like "I think the subject is too small in the image" or "I can't understand why someone would shoot a nude of a man, so I can't relate to this image" lets the photographer understand better what makes you think the image is "wrong".

But neither response was intended to criticise the person who submitted the image, and that person may learn something useful from your opinion.

Opinions are tricky and vigorous ones are even more so. But still they are only opinions.
