Not a game to me...

Hi David,

Thanks for your input. I would hope this is not a game. I don't do games. Too many variables. I simply feel that I have already done all things possible and feel completely comfortable in going before the magistrate and presenting my defence. Whether or not I look good is the opinion of the magistrate and will (I'm sure) be based on the evidence given. Of course, we all want to look good in the eyes of others. But sometimes, no matter what we do, it isn't going to happen. I can talk myself blue in the face and present an O.J. load of evidence, but again, it all boils down to how the other person is going to view me.

Case in point: You called this a "noxious little game" and I did not intend for it to look this way. But to you, evidently, it does. <shrugging shoulders>

Hopefully, though, I will be able to present as the honest person I 'strive' to be and will find favor in the eyes of the magistrate. But again, (as I try to get my husband to understand) all life is a crap shoot. You just do the best you can and hope the favor is with you.

I can't apologise for feeling better and having confidence after reading the input from others on the list. It would be easy to pay back all the money and what I really feel like doing is shutting everything down from here on out. I am ready to throw in the towel. But deep in my heart I have a love for photography that I acquired when I was very young and watched my Dad taking and developing his photographs. It's this love for photography that still holds my heart and won't let me give up again. I closed up shop once over seven years ago. I can't do that again no matter how much this case hurts me and/or my business. And believe me, it will hurt my business for a while.

But again, thank you one and all for all you input. Every bit is welcomed, positive and negative! (No pun intended!) (soft smile)
