You know me, I am always looking at images w/ a commercial photographer eye. Congrats on new baby!!
I think the expressions on Mom's and Dad's face are wonderful. Most of the time you have little or no time in which to set up a "clean" shot. You get just what you see. Some times it's rules be damned and shoot it anyway. The meaning of the image far out weighs any small issues others may have with it.

I have been repeatly been judging camera clubs here in the Bay area and am finding the quality of image increases each year. Most are amatures (status) but create exceptional images.

Have fun,

Les

Thanks Les and thanks Chris for the your comments.

The picture was made with a most simple Olympus Stylus camera the morning
after my daughter gave birth to her second child, in her hospital room, as
she was getting ready to return home. This was the second in a sequence of
three and, for a few moments, the parents, the child and the photographer
were united in an extraordinary state of intimacy. This is what I always
look for when shooting people I intereact with.

But, as you say Les, there are a few glitches that could be PS'd out.

Best regrads,

Guy
