I just bought a dvd burner a few weeks ago and I love it. The bigger storage size is a HUGE bonus for my work...files and projects that used to have to be saved to multiple cds can now (almost always) be saved on one, easy-to-store dvd. That alone is a big bonus. Of course you can still burn cds with a dvd burner. At least I can on mine.

PLUS I can make dvd presentations which play on a tv dvd player.

Subject: CD vrs DVD

Hi Gang..................

One of my CD ROM drives has bit the dust
and I was thinking of getting a DVD burner.

Aside from the larger storage capacity
is there any real advantage in using DVD's
as opposed to CD's to store images?

Thanks
