Thanks for all the replies. I'll try to answer all in one post. - Yes, we went over the contract at the interview and the groom signed it at the rehearsal. - I got the deposit at the rehearsal. (Got paid in full yesterday.) - I never let my negatives go for any reason, ever. I always keep them. They had taken the prints to Wal-Mart and scanned them there. I called Wal-Mart today and alerted them to the name of the couple and said that if they do not have written permission for the copies, they are not to get reprints. I was told the husband may have said my pictures were not done professionally. Otherwise, Wal-Mart has a standing policy not to do reprints without permission. They took my name and number and promised to call me if anything came up again. They also gave me a few more tips on how to protect myself better from now on. - The bride was so convinced the lines were NOT in the first pictures that she accused me of making copies and scratched those. I showed the original proofs to the husband, he compared them to his and saw I was telling the truth. - I also called one of our local photography studios and talked to that photographer. He said it sounded like they did not have a leg to stand on. He suggested I fix the lines and take them to get the reprints myself. I will do that. - One of the pictures is nearly impossible to fix. But I'm not going to offer any money back for now. I may let the mediator handle it if it gets that far. It might just be a good thing she didn't see the lines in the proofs. It proves my point that they are so minute even I did not know they were there till I read the letter the lab had enclosed. (And BTW, I will never use them for my prof. work again. I already have another lab lined up.) It also showed that they were up to copy right theft from the beginning. Anyway... I just got two boxes from UPS and I'm going to go open them. One is my new printer. I think my hard drive will show up tomorrow. I sure hope so! G-B-G! Shyrell ----- Original Message ----- From: "James B.
