Rich Mason - very interesting shot! the people in the paper seem to be more "alive" than the real ones... Veli Cigirgan - sorry, but to me this looks neither decorative nor upsetting, - there is something remotely "Guernica-like about the mutilated fish, but the fish head in the foreground just is too small to grab my attention.
Bob Talbot - Viewmaster Cat :Psychedelic hrubs and a meditative cat. I guess, the cat would be the one thing not looking 3-dimensional if I had the proper filters? Polly - Young Robin - the robins I know have reddish breasts, but this definitely is a nice guy. Excatly the right depth of field, good composition. Leslie Spurlock - UN Doctor - again a picture with a story to tell, but at least on my system, the patient lacks detail. Pablo Coronel - Ballet night - she looks a bit apprehensive? Still a very good shot with a very selective focus on exactly the right spot. Christopher Strevens - Bus Station nice architecture, but why did you have to cut the person in the foreground to pieces? Terry L. Mair - Johnson Mill - I'm sure this is better than yet another duck! As for turning around, I once wanted to shoot a sunset and then turned around, finding a much more attractive subject: http://www.travelphoto.net/a-photo-a-day/wordpress/2004/01/27/chile-alpenglhen-in-den-anden/
Trevor Cunningham - face in window I always found abandoned cinemas a bit scary,
- this one even
seems to have a ghost of its own! Looks a bit like
Stalin...
Jim Davis - No Rules "What can I say, it's art. " - and I thought it was a ducks butt! Doesn't really work for me: the chicken (?) in the back is too sharp to make this an abstract picture but too small and dark to reall ybe the focus of a nture shot.
