it may well look like plain text, ie Arial 10 point, but the size of the
message is a dead giveaway .. it's html

Shyrell, with my evil microsoft product, outlook express I have created two
sample messages below which I sent to myself to demonstrate the difference
between real plain text and html encoded 'plain text'.  What you or I see in
the body of the message in both instances is a single word - "test" in Arial
10 point font.   It looks just the same in both instances, but the stuff
below shows  what ACTUALLY is sent when the message goes out, the first is
where the mail program is set to sent in plain text while the second message
shows what is sent when formatting is applied (and thus coded for html).

the same job as when it's sent in true plain text.




Looking at your particular mail program, Juno, this is what you would need
to do to convert your normal messages that you send in html to plain text:

To paste HTML as plain text:
Write your message in whatever program you want and select and copy the
information.
After you cut or copy the HTML, go to the Edit menu and select Paste
Special.
In the Paste Special box, click Plain text.
Click OK.
