When I was in the UK in April, the rate was 1.95 USD to 1 Sterling or 0.51282051 Sterling to 1 USD.  At or less than 2 pounds, thank goodness my Guinness was cheap reasonably priced!

Actually 0.0179260 USD at today's rate of exchange.
