Dear all, I'm just a photo amateur and so far have no experience *selling* pictures. The only money I earned with my expensive hobby so far came from a few contests I participated in. Now, from time to time I receive offers asking me whether I would be willing to sell some of my work for publication on CD, as illustration for printed media, or to stock libraries. The problem is: I have no idea how much I should ask and what strings may be attached? The latest offer I received was about a book on a country I visited, they want to "to include images on the cover and throughout the interior". What factors are to be considered here? The format of the book? The size of the photos? The number of copies published? I'm sure that many of you have lots of experience in this field, maybe you could point me in the right direction?
