If anyone else out there uses MS pub and you know how to upload your site.......

Shyrell,

We use MS Pub at our church office for our bulletins and newsletter. I hate it. It does the job but it does it awkwardly and with little flexibility. If you can, get yourself either Quark Express or Adobe PageMaker, the two industry standards.

Regarding uploading a website with MS Pub, I wouldn't even consider it. First because I have heard nothing but bad things about sites built with MS software. They seem to overloaded with absolute junk. Bob Talbot could tell you more about this peril.

I built my site using the now out of production Adobe PageMill 3.0. It is a bare bonzes WYSIWYG program (to the extent such was possible at the time of its release). It has a feature for uploading a site. But I've never been able to use it, not because it is faulty but because the host site requires the use of Fetch, a program made for just such purposes by Dartmouth University and is now licensed to Fetch Soft Works. Version 3.0.3 is a free download. Version 4.?.? is a $25.00 license fee.

Go to http://www.fetchsoftworks.com/

BTW, this is a Mac program for OS 7 - 10.2

Peace!
Sidney
