hi again all!

here is a tip i need..how can i scan a whole frame negative ( with the lettering and film advance holes) using a fletbet scanner with film tray(Epson perfection photo series)?

an idea is to get the frame by cutting another similar piece of film in 2 squares and sliding in the try aafter turning it 90 degrees...then joining the 2 pieces in Ps and then adding the main scanned image....

is there another and more clever way?

thanks, kostas

If I understand what you are doing correctly - why not just lay the film on the glass? Unless the neg carrier is substantially higher than the glass it will stay in the focus range.
