I found this scene last summer, exactly as is in a derelict cabin in a remote spot in the mountains of North Sweden. It must have been left there years ago (that´s why the plates weren´t whiter....).
As you can imagine, it was a rather spooky experience, but I had to make a few photos trying to get the atmosphere of the place. Only back in my studio did I think up the title I gave the image when I submitted it. In no way did I intend to make fun of religious beliefs (not that the picture is in any way "funny"); only the association was almost inevitable, even without counting the plates... Besides, the title seems to be quite literally correct in this case.
