The slice tool allows you to cut up an image into pieces. Its generally used on a web page when you want a mouseover event to change part of an image. For example, you've got your porn site and you want the nipple ring to flip up when someone moves their mouse over it. You use the slice tool to cut a small square out of your larger image around the nipple ring. Then when someone moves their mouse over the ring, their browser only has to redraw the slice that contains the ring and not the entire breast. There are probably other uses for it but off hand nipple ring drawing is the only one I can think of. Greg
