Papakotas is right. The play of light is wonderful in this picture. It makes
the singer burst forth from her background. This is good.
But I am still trying to figure out what "relaxed soundcheck uneasiness"
means

gotcha you too!
i have thrown the bait and it seems you were thee only one to take it!! hahaha!

the way things are...
i photographed the whole concert process...from seting up the stage to the the empty stage and dimming lights late at night...i always wanted to do that, and this time i intended to make a PDF file with text and photos on the story of this , and consequently, any other concert.

the phrase itself comes from a thought on how to describe the feeling the band, & the photographer 9me) hads during the hours of preparation for the big night! you see things start at noon, were all the wiring and connections are set, then continues in the aftrenoon with the sound sytmem fine tuning, almost at the setting of the day...usually there are more than one band so one waits for the other , while fouling around, going home to grab a bite or a shower...there is planty of time to go around and each mosicisian's duty to prepare only takes a few minutes...
so nothing is realing pressing on you, you are having a good time actually, only that...i guess there is no way you can stop anticipating for the big moment...will things go wrong?
you just push it in the back of your mind...

how can anyone describe all this with just a few words/....i feel only with contradicting ones...
hence "relaxed uneasiness"...

say, how do you like the idea ofan ilustrated "a story of a concert" article ?

thanks for the reviews rand & all, kostas
