Yes, there was a photo system "The Ultimate Support System" sold buy Ultimate. I bought two black stands and had the poles specially cut to the height I needed. Center poles I owned were the Ultimate SS, but you can have a center pole cut as well, as long as you have the attachments that fit the the tops of the vertical poles. Takes a big footprint though.
