I recently learned my Photo Instructor, Fred Siegrist, had passed away. It was just a local Community College but 25 years ago he taught a AS Degree program in Industrial Photography......... In my short lifetime of working and learning Photography ....he remains the "First"......Magically pulling that first print in the darkroom........endlessly explaining: "f/stops vs shutter speeds vs film speed".........Teaching to SEE and then Photograph........and providing that first honest critique (OUCH!)............
