I believe either Singh-Ray or Kirk made a small polarizer that had an external gear drive to facilitate use. I have a 105mm Nikon UV filter that came with a 50-300 Nikkor zoom I bought used. Looks like a dessert dish, and just as useful for photography.

I have a older 500 f/4 monster telephoto. I have been wondering of late, about polarizing this baby. It uses the typical internal small filter drawer. Do they make a polarizer to fit internal filter holders? Do I need to get something like 105mm (just guessing) polarizing filter?
