I'd like Photoshop to remember both the input and output folders separately.

Subject: Big Question - What would you like in PS 8 ?

well, i do not really know what one may wish to add to PS when it reaches
generation 8 (i bet some would add a coffe machine starter button, you know
for those long hours)
but here is what i would like!

i am new in PS, and what i really need is a more user friendly help menu.
has anyone worked with the sound Cool Edit Pro 2 (proccessing app) ?
here is what it offers...when you open a window (let's say the equivanent of
brightness/contrast dialog box) you get these clicable tabs

-OK
-close : closes the window while keeping in memory your latest settings. so
you can try adjustments on a part of the wave and latter perform the same to
another part
-cancel : closes the window whithout keeping in memory your latest (not
wanted) settings
-preview
-preview bypass : momentarily cancels the settings while sound preview is
running

and most importandly

-help : which leads directly to the related part of the help menu
that is a blessing 'cos you have what info you need without searching for it

and much more... this app creates a file that contains critical wave info
like sound peeks, with the purpose of speeding up the reopening the sound
file (no need to reread the wave)
could something like that be useful in PS ?

that's all for now....kostas

so... no matter what, CHEER UP MY FRIENDS! Life is too precious to jump the
other side of the fence...
