Assistant Professor, Photography

The Art Department at Plattsburgh State University of New York invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin in
fall, 2003.

Qualifications: M.F.A. in photography required: college teaching experience
in photography preferred.  Should have professional competence in
photography, knowledge of relevant historical/contemporary issues, and
commitment to teaching with integration of b/w, color and digital
photography.

Responsibilities: Candidate will work with adjunct faculty to maintain and
develop a photography program/facility that serves B.A. and B.F.A majors as
well as general education students, and will participate in scholarship and
service.  Representatives will be accepting applications and interviewing at
CAA February 20 and 21, 2003.
