Cappa was making photos of somoe republican volunteers at the beggining of
a big battle. Just the moment when soldiers insult one another at the
beggining of hte combat. Cappa was making some pictures of this man when a
sniper select him like target and shot. Cappa could hardly believe what was
happening, but remains making pictures of hte man falling dead. The name of
the soldier is Federico Borrel, 24 years old, and died by a fascist buller
in Cerro Muriano on 5th september of 1936. The sniper just select the
taller of the soldiers. The picture was published in the french magazine VU
in 1936, and in Life on 1937
