the event takes place every year, with a different central subject each

the event is organised by the Salonica's state Museum of Contemporary Arts,
while the current excibition is CURRENTS AND COUNTER-CURRENTS by KOSTAS
BALAFAS, a cinematographer that in many slides condences all the history of
a huge damp building in thew 70's greece

wish one could see some of them, they start with the beautiful scenery to be
mowed and ploughed down, the excavation and the construction works in a mind
blowing scale, ending with the populage departing their soon to be flooded
villages...
