I believe Kidney Stones can be caused by eating rhubarb. It is the oxalic
acid with milk that does it. Do cranberries contain oxalic acid, rhubarb
does.
Lots of people have SAND in kidneys, often they do not know. Usually it is not permanent and is flushed out, sometimes causing microhematurea, that may be a little painful.
The reason may be the change in the acid balance. Change in diet can change the balance. Oxalic acid, very salty foods etc. may be a disaster to kidneys.
Green tea is said to dissolve kidney sand and stones.
Conclusion: eating and drinking is a higher math, whoever thinks that a full stomach is the aim ;o)
