More specifically, whenever I see a large group of your pictures, I'm struck by their coherence and the interest they engender. One at a time, I personally, have a harder time appreciating them. It's a good example of the using photographs to make an extended visual argument, in my opinion. Looking at your pictures en masse shows me things about the world I wouldn't see otherwise. I was a fan of Rodinal and Plus-X, back in the long ago days when I developed film... I recall that it made things a bit grainy, but gave you really great tonality. And then there was the thrill of extracting the stuff from the bottle with a hypodermic. Do they still pack it that way?
