The dataset is derived from a join of tables and Access queries. My guess is that the query he built is not doing what he thinks it is. This would be especially true if he used the GUI query builder, it tends to build some funky queries (especially when run against non-Jet datasources). When querying Postgres from Access I usually use pass through queries to keep Access from mucking them up to much.
