You might want to read the release notes for 8.2.12 back to 8.2.5 http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.2/static/release-8-2-12.html Normally you could just install the latest 8.2, but there are some notes you'll want to read first. > Installed with Windows installer. > > On server is installed NOD32 (2.7). OK - I recommend four steps: 0. Check your backups 1. Disable Norton (temporarily) 2. Upgrade to 8.2.12 (reading the release notes for what you have to do since you are bypassing versions 8.2.11 and 8.2.7 etc) 3. Test by clustering/reindexing the problem table/index idientified in your error message. If it looks fine with NOD32 turned off, turn it back on and test again. Once you know it's your antivirus then you'll need to read its manual and find out how to stop it from interfering with PostgreSQL. -- Richard Huxton Archonet Ltd -- Sent via pgsql-general mailing list (pgsql-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgsql-general
