Dear PostgreSQL friends- I spoke at OSCON 2005 on the Unison Protein Database, which is built on PostgreSQL. Unison's grown a lot in complexity, size, and (internal) user base since then. The whole thing -- database, most content, web interface, and command line tools -- are Open Source. A paper on Unison was accepted to the Pacific Symposium on Biocomputing and will appear shortly. I'll also be giving a talk on it at PSB on Jan 9.
