Cast one to the other type

Considering stpport as integer you could

update tempportfwdconnectiona set srcid=interface.objectid from 
interface where tempportfwdconnectiona.hostid=interface.host and 
tempportfwdconnectiona.spantreeport=interface.stpport::text
