The database has emails.
The table in question holds the attachments. Each row represents one attachment. The file to be inserted is hex64 encoded before insertion.

The email capture and hex64 conversion are both done on FreeBSD machines.
Although it never passes through a windows machine the attachments for the most part are coming from windows machines.
