Counting queries

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

One year ago there was a brief discussion about possibly implementing
stats for the number of queries (ie., selects) executed by the server:

 http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-performance/2006-05/msg00428.php

I was hoping for something akin to the pg_stat_*_tables and its
n_tup_{ins,del,upd} counters. The thread seemed to stop abruptly with
no decision made.

Has anyone worked on this feature in the meantime, or could we restart
the discussion?

Alexander.
