It doesn't have to be malicious for it to be FUD though.
maybe. the feeling i get reading their page is that they are saying: "mysql and postgresql, etc are made with tinker toys, you need to run us on the real stuff". they then try to upsell you to diamond studded titanium tinker toys, namely oracle rac. merlin
