Whenever I enter 'psql', I keep getting these "could not find a "psql" to execute" messages and then it proceeds to exec the psql program. If I enter 'psql' by itself, I will get this message twice before continuing the psql program.

This is on a Windows machine. Note, this doesn't happen, if I execute in the actual 'bin' directory.

Any suggestion on how to remedy this?

Sounds like some kind of a windows path issue to me... I'd suggest trying a windows support forum.
