It's really fast ! So, I don't understand your problem.
I run query on my desktop machine, nothing special.

I don't know what is your desktop ... but I'm using PostgreSQL 7.4.6, on
Debian Woody with a PC Bi-PIII 933 Mhz and 1 Gb of memory ... the server is
dedicated to this database ... !!
