I have an AMD64 Fedora Core 3 server with Postgresql 8.0.1 that I want to upgrade to the latest version. Since 8.0.2 incremented the libpq version I can't install the official RPM packages. I found a message[1] to this list which had a compat-postgresql-libs[2] RPM, but that's an i686 package. Where can I find a x86_64 version or source for this package? Is that package compatible with 8.0.4? [1] http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-general/2005-05/msg01240.php [2] http://developer.postgresql.org/~devrim/compat-postgresql-libs-3-2PGDG.i686.rpm
http://developer.postgresql.org/~devrim/rpms/compat/compat-postgresql-libs-3-3PGDG.src.rpm is the SRPM. Also I've just built the x86_64 RPM for you: http://developer.postgresql.org/~devrim/rpms/compat/compat-postgresql-libs-3-3PGDG.x86_64.rpm Regards, -- Devrim GUNDUZ Kivi Bilişim Teknolojileri - http://www.kivi.com.tr devrim~gunduz.org, devrim~PostgreSQL.org, devrim.gunduz~linux.org.tr http://www.gunduz.org ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 1: if posting/reading through Usenet, please send an appropriate subscribe-nomail command to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx so that your message can get through to the mailing list cleanly
