    no, not downgrade, you need both sets of code.     install 9.4 (from
    the PGDG yum repository) separately.  the PGDG 9.4 code should go
    into /usr/pgsql/9.4 and it will by default look for its data in
    /var/lib/pgsql/9.4/data (so move your data directory to that...)
