Current message (9.0 - looking at pg_stat_activity query): "autovacuum: VACUUM pg_toast.pg_toast_xxxxxx" Suggested query/message: "autovacuum: VACUUM pg_toast.pg_toast_xxxxx (base_table_name)" Given that there is already an "autovacuum: " prefix it doesn't seem that big a stretch to allow a suffix as well.
