Is there an article anywhere which documents everything the current state of the art for the fastest dump/restore? What dump/restore format & options? What things to tweak in the config? I've picked up a few bits here and there along the line, but was just wondering if there's a comprehensive source of current advice. (I want to do a prophylactic dump/restore, after a middle-of-the-day OS crash caused by a third-party in-kernel driver--which I am going to remove now.) -- Scott Ribe scott_ribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.elevated-dev.com/ (303) 722-0567 voice -- Sent via pgsql-general mailing list (pgsql-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgsql-general
