    The instructions start with "Once you have Postgres installed...".

    Since the command is not available, you don't have Postgres
    installed.

    
    $ which createdb

    /usr/bin/createdb

    $ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/bin/createdb

    postgresql-9.1.6-1.fc17.x86_64
