Use the following :

 

INSERT ... RETURNING expressions INTO [STRICT] target;

UPDATE ... RETURNING expressions INTO [STRICT] target;

DELETE ... RETURNING expressions INTO [STRICT] target;

Else if you have multiple rows do something like:

FOR my_update IN UPDATE ... RETURNING * LOOP
