Well, you could (1) remove all the PGDG RPMs, (2) install the regular Fedora postgresql RPMs, including postgresql-upgrade (3) run "service postgresql upgrade" (I haven't actually tested postgresql-upgrade in the context of upgrading from 8.4 PGDG RPMs instead of the regular Fedora ones, but in theory it should work. As always, a filesystem backup of your database is a good thing to have in case of disaster.) regards, tom lane -- Sent via pgsql-general mailing list (pgsql-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgsql-general
