Hi Does Postgresql utilize hyperthreading and multiple cores on the relevant processors on windows?
Sort-of. PostgreSQL runs many processes, one per query. Each process has a single thread. This means that one query can use at most one CPU core, but many queries running concurrently can use many cpu cores.
