The "architecture" that I need to install is:

1 AIX  ----------> 3 AIX    --------------> 1
load                   servers                     Storage
balancer            with PostgreSQL      (SAN)

the 3 AIX PostgreSQL are PPC RS64-III with 1gb RAM

the concurrence is near to 250 - 300 connections (the total user is
bigger than 32,000)

some idea/advice?

thanks

pd. sorry my bad english
