Looks like you still using the alpha4 packages, try following this:

http://people.planetpostgresql.org/devrim/index.php?/archives/43-How-to-install-PostgreSQL-9.0-Beta-1-to-FedoraCentOSRHEL.html

....and see if that fixes the problem.
