Hi

I have a problem with locale on windows.
postgresql 8.4.

this does not work as expected:

filip=# select 'A' ~ '\w', 'Ą' ~ '\w';
 ?column? | ?column?
----------+----------
 t        | f
(1 row)

-- investigating postgres settings:
filip=# select name, setting, context, source, boot_val, reset_val
from pg_settings where name ~*
'(lc|encoding|locale|char|text|version)';
