Hi,

Im not sure if this is right place to ask this question, but here goes. I have have declared a cursor with an query within a transaction. I need to get the current position of the cursor and also the number of rows it represents. Is there any way to do this? I was thinking i could do "SELECT count(cursor_column) FROM cursor_name", but i get a relation does not exist error.

thanks.
