I am running Mac OS X 10.3.3. Uname -a shows that as
Darwin Kernel Version 7.3.0
I took the flags from the linux version. It appears to work ok - at least
it compiles and runs ok. I'm not sure how to verify threading is working
correctly... What I have is:
